🎨 It was a captivating journey as I attended the inaugural and grand opening of the AAP (Association of the Philippines) in Silang Cavite, where the spotlight shines on some of the nation’s most celebrated artists. This exclusive event promises to provide a fascinating glimpse into the rich artistic heritage and creative vision of Filipino talents.

🎨 The AAP Tahanan, a visionary project with multifaceted goals. A new abode is on the horizon, a 200 sq m lot in Silang Cavite, Metro Tagaytay. This two-story dwelling embodies their aspirations, forever to be known as their own home. The AAP Tahanan envisions itself as a gallery, providing a space to showcase artistic masterpieces.

🎨Additionally, it will serve as an artist accommodation, offering a haven for creatives to find inspiration. It will also be an educational center, fostering the development of visual arts through workshops and classes. Esguerra Farm: Discovering an Amazing Farm, the Source of Kurobuta, Pure Berkshire Pork

📍 Exploring the farm’s attractions with media and fellow bloggers was an enjoyable adventure. As we documented the journey, we began by sanitizing our footwear upon entering the farm, followed by conducting antigen tests to protect the animals and plants from potential germs and viruses.

📍I was delighted when Mr. Herminio Esguerra, himself the humble and outstanding owner warmly welcomed us. Mr. Esguerra joined us on the coaster as we toured the entire farm, where he shared his story of how he came up with the idea of establishing the farm and the inspiration that turned Esguerra Farm into an amazing place, him being hands-on everything.

📍 He started as horse breeder then later on expanded on raising purebred Kurobuta, the heritage black pig of Berkshire, imported from the United Kingdom. Now, Esguerra Farms boasts a variety of livestocks, sheep, goats, chickens, ducks, tilapia and catfish among others. Various fruit-bearing trees, like avocados, mangoes, and mangosteen, thrive on the farm, complemented by dedicated plots for cultivating a variety of vegetables.

📍 Kurobuta sets itself apart, resembling pork but possessing beef-like characteristics. The marbling in its meat creates the look of tomahawk, coppa, and ribeye cuts, resulting in delectable steaks with minimal seasoning. On the other hand, conventional pork lacks the necessary tenderness and flavor for such delightful preparations. Esguerra Kurobuta is free from harmful chemicals, making it safe for human consumption. Opting for healthy food is a preventive measure that is superior to curing potential health issues.

📍 Heritage pork is raised with great care, following a natural and stress-free approach that avoids the use of commercial antibiotics and synthetic growth hormones. 📍 It was a delightful and unforgettable dining experience. We were served with crisp, succulent falls-off-the-bone cochinillo, a grazing board, roasted Peking duck, salpicao, lamb, Kurobuta Pork Coppa Steak, barbecue, porchetta, freshly grilled tilapia, balut, salad, fruit salad for dessert, and overflowing juice that we truly enjoyed.

Mr. Esguerra cut the Cochinillo traditionally with a plate.

A comprehensive culinary destination offering an extensive selection of perfectly balanced and gratifying dishes, alongside an array of coffee and pastries.

Presents genuine Hong Kong-style roast dishes and comforting culinary delights.

The Gourmet Lounge provides an ideal setting for small events and intimate functions, such as birthdays, meetings, family gatherings, and team get-togethers.

The private space is equipped with a sound system, microphone, and TV for visual presentations, ensuring a seamless event experience. With a minimum seating capacity of 24 guests, they offer a 3-hour use of the venue, accompanied by a consumable amount ranging from P8,000 to P12,000. This consumable amount can be used towards any of our three restaurant brands.

Unveiling Tahanan, New Home of the Art Association of the Philippines ( AAP )

🎨 It was a captivating journey as I attended the inaugural press conference of the esteemed Art Association of the Philippines on July 10, 2023, where the spotlight shone on some of the nation’s most celebrated artists. This exclusive event promised to provide a fascinating glimpse into the rich artistic heritage and creative vision of Filipino talents.

🎨 Thanks to the AAP (Art Association of the Philippines) and to the painter, Mr. Jo Florendo, for the incredible painting! Your talent and creativity shine through every brushstroke, and I’m truly in awe of your artistic skills. This painting has brought so much joy and beauty to my space, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have such a magnificent piece of art created by you.

🎨 They introduced the AAP Tahanan, a visionary project with multifaceted goals. A new abode is on the horizon, set to rise on a 200 sq m lot in Silang, Cavite, Metro Tagaytay. This two-story dwelling embodies their aspirations, forever to be known as their own home.

🎨 The AAP Tahanan envisions itself as a gallery, providing a space to showcase artistic masterpieces. Additionally, it will serve as artist accommodation, offering a haven for creatives to find inspiration. It will also be an educational center, fostering the development of visual arts through workshops and classes.

🎨 Ultimately, the AAP Tahanan aims to be the proud ambassador of Filipino artists, showcasing their talent and cultural heritage to the world.

🎨By documenting this extraordinary event, my blog aims to inspire readers to explore the vibrant world of Filipino art and recognize the invaluable contributions of these artists to the global art community.

🎨Being in the presence of these remarkable painters and esteemed members of the AAP fills me with a profound sense of gratitude and admiration. To have the chance to meet these accomplished painters and esteemed members of the AAP is an honor that words cannot adequately express.

🎨 I was impressed with the food they served, as it was all sumptuous, delicious, and worth eating, making it perfect for the event.
